Hillbillies & Vikings

This site is focused broadly on all descendants of John Denboe, an indentured servant who came to the Crown Colony of Maryland in about the year 1664. Also, it maintains a special emphasis on the descendants of John Denbow (1797-1862) and his brother Bazeleel (1795-1857), early pioneers in the hills of Southeastern Ohio, as well as the descendants of Jón Jónsson (1841-1934) of Dalasýsla, Iceland, who was an Icelandic immigrant to Canada and now has progeny throughout North America.

	Bonnie Marie Lonsinger Obituary Bonnie Marie (Denbow) Lonsinger 85, of Zionsville, Ind., and formerly of Canton, Ohio, passed away peacefully June 6, 2014. Bonnie was born April 1, 1929, to Charles and Dorothy Denbow in Barberton, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her half-brothers, Fern Denbow, Dalton Denbow, and Dean Denbow. Bonnie is survived by her sons: Tim Lonsinger, Tom Lonsinger and Bob (Nancy) Lonsinger; brother Don (Kay) Denbow; two grandchildren Alex and Ashley Lonsinger: and nieces and nephews, Jamie (Curt) Clark, Susan (Tim) Altier, and Mike (Johnna) Denbow. Bonnie was retired from the Canton Regency where she served as Marketing Director for 12 years. She also founded one of the Canton Chapters of the 'Red Hat Society' where she enjoyed socializing and making new friends. Above all, she was a loving mother and a faithful friend. A Memorial Service will be held at La Pizzaria in Canton on Saturday, June 21st., at 2:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life to follow.
