Anecdote |
- According to his adopted son, Dick Gramlich, Otto "lived his entire life within 3-4 blocks in Bridgeport, Ohio. He worked as a baker about all of his working life. Primarily ran a larger mixer, mixing the dough, similar to a cement mixer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, flying motorized airplanes, making small items such as a sail boat in a bottle. He also enjoyed visiting all of his brothers and sisters, to include Bob and Romeo who lived around Buffalo, N.Y. He was one of the good guys God puts on the earth, perhaps to counterbalance some of the bad ones. Hooray for dad!!!!!"

Note |
- info from Dick Gramlich: Otto's parents were John Anthony Costa & Teresa Dallimonti, both born in Italy -- migrated to U. S. about 1900. Otto was a baker by trade, primarily at the Nolte Baking Co., Wheeling, WV. His primary job at the bakery was to run a large mixer, similar to a cement mixer, that was used to mix large batches of dough. He lived his entire life in Bridgeport, Ohio. He enjoyed fishing & hunting, and making small things -- boats in bottles, small airplanes that actually flew, etc. He also enjoyed visiting all his brothers and sisters, including Bob and Romeo, who lived near Buffalo, NY.
He was overall one the good guys on this earth. He & Pearl had two children -- Sandra Kay & Connie Lou. Sandra married a Carl J. Gross Jr. Connie married a Jerry Gillespie. Otto's brother, Arthur, married Emma Pearl's sister, Lula Mae. Hence two brothers in one family married two sisters in another family.
