Hillbillies & Vikings

This site is focused broadly on all descendants of John Denboe, an indentured servant who came to the Crown Colony of Maryland in about the year 1664. Also, it maintains a special emphasis on the descendants of John Denbow (1797-1862) and his brother Bazeleel (1795-1857), early pioneers in the hills of Southeastern Ohio, as well as the descendants of Jón Jónsson (1841-1934) of Dalasýsla, Iceland, who was an Icelandic immigrant to Canada and now has progeny throughout North America.

Obituary: GRAMLICH, Richard Richard Lee Gramlich, 75, of Doraville, GA, died November 19, 2009. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 22nd, at Northeast Baptist Church in Doraville, with the body lying-in-state from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow at North Atlanta Memorial Park, Doraville. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 21st, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Gramlich was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from Equifax with 30 years of service and from the IRS after 10 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Ethel L. Gramlich of Doraville, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Mark R. & Bonnie Gramlich of Scaly Mountain, NC; daughters and son-in-law, Penny Knutson of Lawrenceville, GA and Libby & Jim Roland of Asheville, NC; sister and brother-in-law, Connie & Jerry Gillespie of Hickory, NC; and four grandchildren, Todd Jeffrey Gramlich, Ryan Glawson, Ciera Barrow, and McKinley Roland.
