This site is focused broadly on all descendants of John Denboe, an indentured servant who came to the Crown Colony of Maryland in about the year 1664. Also, it maintains a special emphasis on the descendants of John Denbow (1797-1862) and his brother Bazeleel (1795-1857), early pioneers in the hills of Southeastern Ohio, as well as the descendants of Jón Jónsson (1841-1934) of Dalasýsla, Iceland, who was an Icelandic immigrant to Canada and now has progeny throughout North America.

This Obituary is from an unknown source and seems to contain some errors, particularly in the listing of children. Are some of them step-children from Samuel Arnett's first marriage? On September 24, 1964, Virginia Sarah Arnett, of 3005 New York Avenue, Baltimore Highlands, passed away at Maryland General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Samuel M Arnett, mother of Ferdinand, Albert Joseph, Loretta Virginia and Virginia Myrtle Pittinger. She is survived by daughter Virginia Myrtle, and grandchildren Suzanna, Virginia Ann and Horst Schroeder Jr. Funeral services will be held at the William Cook Mansion, St Paul and Preston Streets, on Monday at 11am. Interment in Moreland Memorial Cemetery. Virginia Arnett (Aunt Vergie) was one of 13 children of Annie Elizabeth Denbow and Joseph Henry Tudor. They are buried in Baltimore. Her first husband was Albert Randolph Pittinger and the second was Samuel McLain Arnett
