This site is focused broadly on all descendants of John Denboe, an indentured servant who came to the Crown Colony of Maryland in about the year 1664. Also, it maintains a special emphasis on the descendants of John Denbow (1797-1862) and his brother Bazeleel (1795-1857), early pioneers in the hills of Southeastern Ohio, as well as the descendants of Jón Jónsson (1841-1934) of Dalasýsla, Iceland, who was an Icelandic immigrant to Canada and now has progeny throughout North America.

Dorothy Wood Denbow Obituary. The Times Recorder (Zanesville, Ohio). Text DOROTHY F. DENBOW Dorothy F. Denbow, 81, formerly of Columbus, died at 8:05 a.m. Thursday, March 9, 1989 at Morgan County Care Center. She was a former employee of the Clyde Thompson Funeral Home. Born June 28, 1807, in Roseville, she was a daughter of Lloyd and Sevilla Pletcher Wood. Her husband, Charles R. Denbow died in 1953. Mrs. Denbow is survived by one son, Donald R. Denbou of Montgomery, Ala.; one daughter, Bonnie Lonsinger of Canton; one brother, Lloyd Wood of Chandlersville; eight grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren. Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Thompson-Farus Funeral Home in Duncan Falls where services will be 1 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Chandlersville Cemetery. Linked to
