This site is focused broadly on all descendants of John Denboe, an indentured servant who came to the Crown Colony of Maryland in about the year 1664. Also, it maintains a special emphasis on the descendants of John Denbow (1797-1862) and his brother Bazeleel (1795-1857), early pioneers in the hills of Southeastern Ohio, as well as the descendants of Jón Jónsson (1841-1934) of Dalasýsla, Iceland, who was an Icelandic immigrant to Canada and now has progeny throughout North America.

D'light Devor's Obituary (19 Jun 1965). Greenville Daily Advocate. Text Greenville Dies In Columbus Mrs. D'Light B. Halley, a Greenville native and daughter of the late Attorney and Mrs. J. C. DeVor, died today at her Columbus home. Mrs. Halley resided in Greenville for many years where her late husband, William E., was postmaster. He was later clerk of the Ohio Senate. Mrs. Halle was a member of the Bexley Methodist church at Columbus. Survivors include one son, William E. of Columbus, and one grandchild. Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p. m. at the Schoedering Funeral Home, State Street, Columbus. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p. m., tomorrow and 2 to 4 and 7 to p. m.
